Did you guys see the replay of the skate hitting this dude in the neck.

Horrible...severed his coritid and barely missed his jugular. The Docs said his life was not in danger??????

What a lucky SOB, to have something like that happen and live through it.

Hope he recovers fully. They sayit might be 8 weeks before he can return to normal activities. And his life wasn't in danger.....damn :shock:

From what I read, the docs said that if he hadn't gotten immediate medical attention, he would have died. I think they are saying that his life is not in danger anymore. I think....

Never thought about it that way. He looked like he was fading when they took him off the ice. I played hockey and my skates were never that sharp. Maybe they should be wearing Kevlar turtlenecks :!:

This clip is not that graphic but it is scary to think how easily this could happen. You can see the look of shock on his face as he skates off the ice.

Fluke play! He's very lucky. But I'm not sure he's out of danger yet from what I heard.
