NHL: Bank sues over loans to Fedorov
Citizens State Bank is suing Sergei Fedorov, saying it is owed $2.1 million in interest and principal on loans of $1.75 million and $500,000 it made to the former Red Wing in 2004 and 2005.
A default notice was sent in May after payments stopped, the bank's attorney, Scott Norton, said Tuesday.
Fedorov recently signed a one-year, $4-million contract with the Washington Capitals.
The Associated Press said it could not reach his lawyer for comment.
