When I started this topic a few months ago, I had no idea we would be struggling for a playoff spot at this point. Sure when we get healthy, things will be better but still. Howard has turned into serviceable and could be a good backup but I still don't think he has enough to be a good starter in the NHL. We have enough good starters coming up in a few years to worry about that later.
Osgood has disappeared again. I think a lot of fans have forgotten how bad he was before the playoffs last year. He won't snap out of it every year and he could be on his way out.
Our offense is too streaky but being healthy will help that. Babcock is really going to show how good of a coach he is. I think we will get a 5-8 seed and maybe make some noise in the playoffs. This is a transition year before we reload.
