 GOING WITHOUT
GOING WITHOUT
January 7, 2005
The regular season doesn't mean anything in hockey -- until it's gone. Some things we miss most during the NHL lockout:
?Steve Yzerman. Realistically, how many seasons does he have left? It's a shame to waste one.
?Mickey Redmond and a little bingo-bango.
?Cheering-booing for our Red Wings goalie of choice.
?Scotty Bowman. Actually, we've missed him for a couple of years now.
?Debating what physical defenseman the Wings should pick up at the trade deadline.
?Don Cherry. We still like him, even if a lot of Canada doesn't anymore (apparently it's a red province-blue province thing).
?Kerry Fraser. Whom can we yell at now?
?Even the left-wing lock. Dull, yes, but it's still Red Bull compared to the West Coast offense.
