Huge cancer to the team both in terms of ineffectiveness and salary cap trouble gone.

 Re: BYE BYE BEN GORDON
Im actually kind of excited now that Ben Gordon is gone and plan on watching the draft. Hoping the Pistons forget about Henson and roll the dice on a guy with elite talent - Perry Jones. Sure Perry Jones could turn into Rodney White but he could also be a stud. Henson is a safe pick as a rotational player but probably not much more than that. With the two early-mid 2nd Rders would they deal to get back into the first? Trading Gordon opens up some cap space this year and quite a bit more for the following season. Could thye position themselves to land Sullinger or Arnett Moultrie?
If they amnesty Villanueva potentially they could add a decent FA this season but more likely would wait a year.
C - Monroe/B Wallace/Macklin PF - P Jones/Sullinger/Maxiell SF - Prince/Daye/Singler SG - Stuckey/Maggette PG - Knight/Bynum/
They probably still stink and arent a playoff team but at least they d have a few exciting young players and would head into the 2013 FA perior with cap space (- Gordon/Villanueva/Maxiell money)
