The reason that only Miami or Detroit are in the running for Finley's services is because Mark Cuban reportedly had Finley sign an agreement stating that if Cuban paid out all of the money he still owed to Finley upfront, that Finley would not sign with any Western Conference teams.
With that being said, there are rumors saying that he is leaning toward signing with Miami because Stan Van Gundy used to coach him at Wisconsin and Finley and Wade share the same agent.

Actually, that was Spreewell who played for Flip, not Finley. But you are correct, I would not want Spreewell on our team. His attitude is a bad fit with this club.

Sorry mixed them up. Maybe it is their photos. They look a little alike don't you think?
Yes, spree is not only a bad character guy, I just do not like his game. Plus does he have any legs left? He is not the same guy that played at GS.

But seriously, the guy is 35 years old and refuses to accept that he is no more than a role player. He probably would be fine with 20-25 minutes off the bench, but he is still a cancer in the locker room.

If Pistons sign Sprewell they're done!! Pistons definitely SHOULD NOT sign Latrell Sprewell!! Horrible attitdue about him that would clash with the Pistons' "team" attitude!! Seeing how Finley is leaning towards Miami the Pistons main targets should be signing Allan Houston or Jalen Rose!!
