On Sunday, December 5th the top two teams in the NBA will face each other on ABC. Currently the San Antonio Spurs are the #1 seed in the West at 21-6 and the Detroit Pistons are the #1 seed in the East at 21-3. These are by far the top two teams in the NBA and will be a rematch of last year's final. Seeing how San Antonio beat us in the NBA Finals last year, the majority of Amercia still believes that San Antonio is currently the best NBA team in the nation (despite the Pistons' better overall record this year). This will be a huge game on Sunday and if the Detroit Pistons come out victorious we could in fact become the favorites to win it all this year instead of the Spurs being favored to repeat. Sure, we'll play the Spurs again later in the season, but whoever wins the game THIS SUNDAY will be considered the top team in the NBA until these two teams meet again.

I think we will win. It irks me that this game will be the "opening act" so to speak for the Heat Lakers game. Our game will be so much better.

I think the Pistons will win and prove a point!!! it is still early in the year, but they have a payback due.. it does irk me too that it is the early game! they just have to have the big Kobe/Shaq matchup and Shaq is injured..
