Post Pistons #5 in ESPN preseason power rankings

As much as I hate to admit it, this is pretty fair right now.

Yeah, the #5 ranking is more than fair. We still have most of our core, but no one knows for sure what losing Big Ben will do to our team chemistry. Can't wait for training camp to start to see how Nazr will fit into our team.

Sheed's got to go IMO. They need a guy like KG who can do it all. KG can provide scoring (from all over) and play D. I don't think Nazr is this guy, especially with how hard Sheed plays (sarcasm). Sheed is going to have to step up and bring his best every single game, which I have no reason to believe he will. Nazr is a good pickup, but not as a starter IMO. He would have been a great backup.

Tay is going to have to start off playing like he finished last season.

A low post presence and a scoring threat down low (ala KG or a Sheed on his best day), will draw double teams and let CB and Rip get open more often, increasing their efficiency.

Draft defense - CB, LB, DT, LB...WR/KR
