I cannot believe that BC fired their coach for having an interview with the Jets. He has been the best coach that BC has had in the last 10 years. But they fire him for trying to better himself in the coaching world.
It just show what a 2nd rate school that they are. The AD says it was his desion alone, that should have been his resination letter.
If the dude was that impotant to the school, why not offer a raise or other benifits. You don't just fire a guy with a record like his.

I'm in Boston this week and people around here seem pretty pissed. Didn't help that the Pats didn't make the playoffs, BC lost to Harvard of all teams last night, and the Celtics lost as well. Sorrow in Beantown!
