Michigan football coach Brady Hoke says Ray Vinopal has left the team for family reasons.

Hoke said Wednesday the safety has returned to his home in Youngstown, Ohio.

Vinopal played in 12 games, including four starts during the regular season, and made 33 tackles and an interception for the Wolverines. He played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2010

wonder if he wants to transfer to OSU so he can make some $ on the side selling jerseys, etc?

Read somewhere that he had family issues and then I read that he was going to transfer to Pitt, so who knows. As mention no great loss, this kid was the classic RichRod defensive recruit; small, unathletic, and not physical at all. Not a Brady Hoke type of guy.
