 Re: 2011 Season Rankings
Oklahoma State up to 5th this week! They control their own destiny completely now. If they win out they will be in the title game. Can't overlook anyone, but got the toughest game out of the way until Dec. 3rd vs Oklahoma.

Illi in the top 25?
It's all about taking care of your business and both teams are 4-0. I do wonder why FL ST is still around though...

WVU game over the weekend. Crazy day since ESPN Gameday was there--really fun day. Anyway, LSU is SICK. Maybe eight guys on defense that will play on Sundays. I can't see anybody beating them. Jarrett Lee is playing pretty well, putting the ball exactly where it needs to go. Even when Jordan Jefferson returns, I could see them sticking with Lee. WVU got tired at the end of the game--LSU was just too big and strong up front and our guys couldn't tackle them in the fourth quarter. Made it interesting in the third quarter but ultimately were outclassed. I will say this about WVU--all the talking heads have said that "nobody can pass on LSU" but Geno Smith set a school record with over 400 yards passing. A losing effort, yes, but WVU will put up some eye-popping numbers over the next two years. Hopefully we'll have a conference to play in

 Re: 2011 Season Rankings
Yikes. I thought Minny played USC pretty tough but they have flamed out since. Not a good year to be a college football fan in the state of New Mexico. I've seen Al Borgess' name being thrown around as a HC candidate for the vacant UNM job.

 Re: 2011 Season Rankings
Someone really needs to lose their voting privileges. Anyone else have a feeling that steensn is really going to start slacking on his updates of the rankings this season?

 Re: 2011 Season Rankings
OSU next three games: @#14 Nebraska @#19 Illinois home vs #4 Wisonsin I would say those three teams are better then Toledo, a team they almost lost to. And they might not be getting all there players back either: http://espn.go.com/college-football/sto ... orney-says

I thought it was "funny" that he all of the sudden got "too busy" to post rankings the first week that OSU dropped out of them. I have to add... as a realisitic UofM fan, we're over ranked at 12 and Nebraska is likely a better team than we are right now.

It is official now: http://espn.go.com/college-football/sto ... s-extendedI agree UofM is over ranked, but this 5-0 is a lot different then last years 5-0. Last year they probably would of scored 58 points against Minnesota but they probably would of given up 28. It seems like they are headed in the right direction with this coaching staff, but they still have a long ways to go to be relavent in college football again.

Michigan is listed at #12, and I think that's TOO high, anyone else?
