Post MSU vs. UoM week 2014
Little brother now up to a 17-point favorite to knock off baby sister for the 6th time in 7 years. Still, that is almost a touchdown less the 23-points beating the Wolverines suffered last year in the Big House (of Horrors).

Michigan has had two weeks to prepare coming of their bye week, the Spartans, however, basically get a bye this week going against Michigan. UofM came off a bye last year as well, thumping their chest with a 6-1 record - they left getting soundly man handled in every facet of the game demoralized then lost 4 of their last 5 to begin a slide that hasn't stopped since unless you want to count wins over the likes of Miami of Ohio and Appalachian State (well, you may want to count the second one considering what happened previously).

Things could get real ugly in East Lansing as Hoke gets another nail in his maize and blue coffin!
Go State So Blue

Any point spread less than 21, I'd bet State

I'd love to shut them out this year but my guess it will be slightly closer than expected. MSU has been playing down to their competition this year so I expect it to be more along the lines of 28-17 MSU.

nobody is more dangerous than when they are backed into a corner and you can throw some of the talent difference out the window in a rivalry game. i think michigan state will lose another game this year but dantonio always seems to have a trick up his sleeve and hoke s team cant generate enough offense without subjecting gardner to extreme punishment. michigan plays its best game for 3.5 quarters but MSU wears them down late, Spartans 23-21

If we're doing scores and game predictions:

MSU goes hard and never lets up. Michigan manages a late TD in garbage time:

42-7 MSU

What do you expect from the school that will likely burn a couch after the game?

Enjoy it while you can. UofM will get their ship turned around and resume being Michigan.

106 games. UofM won 68 MSU won 33 and there have been 5 ties.

I think UofM gets back to being Michigan long before you guys get anywhere near catching up in the win column.

Pay phones, disco, typewriters, parachute pants and Michigan football. Don't worry, they will all be back and bigger than ever too. It's a shame bad kids in elementary, junior high and high school don't go back as far as you do - so last century...

Let's look at another record. Big 10 Division winners:

Michigan State 2 (will be 3 soon)
Wisconsin 2
Ohio State 1
Nebraska 1

I'll tooo can make a prediction - Minnesota wins a Big 10 division title before Michigan ever does...

Michigan still has quality assets -- the Big House, top notch facilities, wealthy donors and a large alumni base including many high up in the sports media. So long as the University cares, the program will eventually return to preeminence.

It's just been horribly mismanaged -- Dave Brandon may be the worst AD the University has ever had. Get competent people in positions of power, and things will work themselves out.

Cant wait for those maize and blue losers to tack on yet another loss.

Because we will probably suck again next year, those wealthy donors that blueskies is referring to seem to be racist pigs who will probably scare top recruits away from the school. MSU seems to care more about winning games than tradition and what everyone thinks of them, UM would rather trot out a WR as the QB than admit their mistake and find a guy capable of doing QB related things, and UM would also hire the first idiot who begs for the job instead of a coach with big game experience.

There is nothing exciting about next year other than this game being in the Big House
