Oh Billy, you love to live in the past, way in the past - I guess if I was a Michigan fan I would too with "little brother" the most dominant big sport college in the country right now (#5 in BCS, #3 in hoops).

Michigan has won 1 of the last 8 against Michigan State and 1 of the last 11 against OSU. There have been 5 Big Ten championship games, MSU and OSU have been to 4 of them and each have have championship. Where has Michigan been? BTW - MSU and OSU also have 4 Big Ten basketball Tournament championships, Michigan none.

Daddy? This hasn't been your Daddy's athletic program in quite some time... Maybe instead of "Daddy" it should say "Goose Egg" to reflect Michigan's programs this century!

Even if it helps MSU today I just can't cheer on the Buckeyes...

Go Blue!

As long as Sparty handles his own business, And I can't imagine that they won't, then this game means nothing one way or another to Sparty.

Oh well. Just goes to show us how much farther we have to go. It has been a great season as far as turning the program around. We are further along the process than I anticipated we would be this year. I figured we would be bowl eligible. But, I didn't expect that bowl game to be as close to new years day as it will be.

Its still possible they put UM in a NY day game (prob not the 4 old bcs bowls though), and sadly not the rose (where i could go see them).

But yes, a better than expected season.. reasons tob e excited about the future, and proof after 2 times getting punched in the mouth that we cant affored to be 1 NT injury away from giving up 300 yd rushing games.

Our DC is the new HC at Maryland.

Who do we replace him with?

Mark Hollis - not only are his programs the most creative in the country but who else can boost top 5 programs in both men's bball and football?

I doubt UofM would lure him away as he and his family are very close with two of the best coaches in the country and their families. But if you could get the best AD out there and weaken you rival at the same time that would be smart. If I'm at Michigan I'd throw a lot of $ at Hollis...

Not saying they should, but it might be an interesting scenario is John Harbaugh is fired by the Ravens...

Durkin will likely poach his top Defensive assistant to be his DC. He might also try to get one of our Offensive assistants to be his OC.

So, this could create a ripple effect.

1 year. And other Universities are already hiring Harbaugh assistants to be their HC.

How many Dantonio assistants have been hired as HC by other universities?
