Their defense better have their running shoes on again for this week as well. Oregon runs a similar style of spread offense and will give that secondary another on the job learning experience. While Dixon is another exciting duel threat QB that will make things difficult for the front seven to contain him.
As for the polls, Michigan gave everybody a shining example of why there should be no poll rankings put out until three or four weeks into the season. Let things play out and base the better teams on their strength of schedule that they have played up to that point. No team should be handed a top ranking and then if they do play well not ever have to face any real threat of losing their spot. These polls are another factor that keep the non BCS conference teams out of National Championship contention. They have to climb so far up the polls that by the time they even get close the season is over and they wake up the next morning with a sore backside and a fistful if twenties.
