Gruden is an offensive addict. He loves that side of the ball, espically the QB position. That is his passion. He would kill to have said that he drafted and developed a hall of fame QB. Which he had a small part of with Favre.
He is totally consumed with the concept. It would surprise me if he didn't draft a qb at #5 if one fell to him. It also wouldn't surprise me if he traded up to get one of the two.
Griese is a temp in TB, one year contract, and Simms seems to have lost momentum due to his injury.
If one of the two falls to #5 Gruden will pick him.

I don't know, He told Mike Williams that he would pick him. I think he is also enamorded with Simms.
