Quote: The tests were administered at the NFL scouting combine, as was the one in which Northwestern defensive tackle Luis Castillo tested positive for androstenedione, which is considered a steroid by the NFL. Castillo, whose draft status was rising quickly before the positive test became public, is considered a potential first- or second-round pick.
Wow. I believe that is the same stuff that McGwire used to beef up.

It is the same stuff. I heard he sent a letter to the teams explaining that he used it to come back for injury.
I also heard 4 players tested positive for pot.
I believe one was Anttaj Hawthorne, DE from Maryland... DOH!

Antaaj Hawthorne is the DT from Wisconsin. I have also heard that he tested positive for marijuana.

My favorite day ever as a Lions fan.
Somehow landing the Ndamo-nator would be the second best day ever.

I thought you meant Anttaj Hawthorne, AND the DE from Maryland (which would be Merriman).

I thought I heard that Pac Man Jones tested positive for pot. I am not sure however. If it is true, Pac Man won't be drafted by Joe Gibbs at #9 if he is avialable. Joe won't think twice about it.

One site alleged that there was a whisper campaign that Pac Man tested positive for a masking agent. Charles had a similar thing. I am not sure how that is counted or reported. In Charles case I guess his sample included too much water of all things! Pac man's agent denied this furiously as one might suspect. Maybe this was a false rumor?
