Welcome to Lionbacker!
That would be cool if they could do that. I don't think Tuck will last until the 41st pick though, but wouldn't it be great if he did.

I think the DEs that will be gone by #41 are:
Justin Tuck
Matt Roth
Shawne Merriman
David Pollack
Marcus Spears
Erasmus James
Demarcus Ware
Dan Cody
The only one(s) I think would possibly slip would be Cody and James. Cody due to his clinical depression which caused him to miss his 2001 season and James due to his big injury history. However, those are the only possible slips I see happening.

Man that's a lot of DE's flying off the board.
Considering depth at cornerback and WR in this draft as well... a couple of DE's are bound to make it to 41. Because 8 DE's gone within 41 picks is unprecedented. Considering weakness at safety, oline, and LB, I suppose it could happen in this draft.

I think Roth and Cody could slip. I'm figuring one or two of whom I listed will be available. The DEs seem to be a hot commodity in the first round in the draft. Also early second seems like a steal for some of the top DEs. But as you said, HB, the weaknesses and ILB, OLB, and S inflate the value of the top rated DEs. I think we'll see a record number of CBs and DEs go in the first 2 rounds.

I like Roths motor I'd be ok if they got him with our #2 pick
