This is kind of surprising to me because Fraley is solid and only has 6 years on him. They have 3 centers on the roster.

Were you trying to take the words out of my mouth conversion?
I have seen a couple of mock recently with Miami taking Smith or Rodgers, has Saban said anything about not having confidence in Feely?(because I wouldnt blame if did.)

Miami Herald that came out Thursday (I think) said the 'Phins were "definately" taking Smith at #2.
Saban denied this as far as I know. But then again with all the rules Saban's implementing this year (only so many minicamps open to the public/press, no player interviews on friday, etc), I imagine he'd deny every bit of draft info that came out in the papers.

There is no way that Mike Williams falls to 17. That just isn't going to happen.

I don't know, you saw his mock for last year. I think he is pretty good, and pray he's right about DJ.

The Dolphins are stating this because of one reason: They want to bait Tampa Bay into trading up to get Smith. Gruden covets Smith. He has already stated that he would like to trade up for him. Miami has made it no secret that they want to move down.
But here's the problem... Saban wants the high second rounder that Tampa Bay has. The Bucs don't want to give a second rounder up, rather a third rounder. For some reason, I think that Buffalo will be brought into this... Maybe a 3 team trade where Tampa gets #2 and Henry, Buffalo gets a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Henry, and Miami gets #5 and Buffalo's second rounder?
BUF - Gives Travis Henry, Gets Tampa Bay's 3rd round pick
TB - Gives #5 and 3rd round pick, gets #2 and Henry
MIA - Gives #2, gets #5 and Buffalo's 3rd round pick
Sorry, I usually don't waste my time on pointless scenarios that will never happen, but I got a new laptop and wanted to test it out.

Don't feel bad, I waste everyone's time everytime I post.
BTW, I'm scouting laptops for college in 06. What kind do you have, do you like it?

Not to answer for Brian, but I figured I'd throw my 2 cents in here..
I have a laptop, using it for college (on campus all day, so it's my 2nd bag). I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 (they don't make the 8100 anymore ). The thing is a workhorse.
I recommend a Dell if you don't want to build your own. (I don't recommend building your own laptop, unless you're VERY experienced, they're horrible). Never had anything wrong with a Dell.
Definately steer clear of the Celeron processor. They're cheaper, but quite a bit slower than a P4 or an Athlon.
I had an HP laptop, talk about problems. Probably just got a bad processor, but man, it sucked.

Thanks Convo.
I had a friend who had lots of trouble with a Dell PC. I guess it depends on the specific computer.
Thats what I wanted to do to my old Gateway. POS.

I thougth that Gruden wanted Mike Williams.

What I found most interesting RIGHT AWAY is the man picked Mark Clayton for Minnestoa at 7 and Mike Williams at 18 in his first draft. NOW he has Troy WIlliamson at 7 and David Pollack at 18(passing on Clayton who goes 20th.)_ Now I realize he has a DAY OF DRAFT thing he does, I d go by that for accuracy, he s just creating buzz... which isnt necessarily bad! give s us all something to talk about!

Interesting draftboard of draftboards:

Kiper and Scott Wright top the list!

I wonder why that is... maybe because Scott fashions his mock around Kiper's...
I love it how he will wait until the last possible moment to come out with his mock draft... to make sure he see's Kiper's Mock beforehand.
Gosselin's up there...
The only thing I question about his first round is Marcus Johnson, OT, in the first... he's the only guy I don't really see going that high.
http://www.gmjr.com/2005_mock_draft.html
Russ Lande (aka GM Jr) was an ex-scout for the Cleveland Browns. He has been scouting for numerous years.
He also has a few players in the first round that most sites don't... he seems to have a good grasp on who he likes, who he doesn't, and where people should go. Does his own thang... not listening to what he hears around the league.

Exactly. I don't see for why all the hate? It's a business thing to keep things interesting.
I'm thinking when all is said and done.. Goose will probably change Minny's WR pick again to put Mike Williams. Anyway it's a good indication if Rick's sources are right that they are probably targeting a WR.
