Post Bradford To Stay In School!!! Sanchez Going Pro.
Thank you lord thank you! Sam Bradford decided to stay for at least another year at OU. Making it So much easier to setlle the stafford vs bradford debate. Matt Stafford looks like the lead dog......But Mark Sanchez QB from USC declared to enter the 2009 draft. Making him the only competition to Stafford for #1 QB. Sanchez might get some late boost entering the draft and maybe propel him into the first because of a strong arm and accuracy on the run(accuracy not so great in the pocket...weird) But as it looks now im Celebrating my Guy i wanted us to draft since week 11 Matt Stafford is one step closer to throwing deep with Calvin

With any luck, Sanchez will decide to stay in school and announce that instead tomorrow and Stafford will have horrible workouts so that Detroit doesn't blow a pick on either one of them.

No rookie quarterback will make it into their 30's without shell-shock behind that offensive line. Let a vet take the hits while you rebuild it.

We want them to be coveted to help us trade down in the draft.

I don't want a qb either but if we draft Sanchez anywhere before the 3rd round I will be royally pissed.

That's the interesting part. The Lions want to make everyone think they covet a lot of players and try to find the one team willing to move up to get him, doesn't matter who it is. As fans, we're going to hear a lot about how the Lions fell in love with this guy or that guy in order to garner some trade interest. It sucks for us though, having to listen to all the misleading information before being disappointed on draft day!

this is good for the lions as it will make the qb position more scarce and presumably there is a larger gap bw Stafford than Sanchez and Stafford and Bradford so if we want to make a trade Stafford may have relatively more value.

Now as far as Bradford. Obviously he's thinking....I dont know what the hell he is thinking...

Bradford is going to be a stud. I'll wait to see your faces covered in egg when he goes #1 overall next year and looks like Matt Ryan.

I have no faith this team will win a game the rest of the year. The kitties finish at 7-9 and Miss the playoffs as GB wins out and takes it from the kitties.
