Also take into consideration, people could refuse to come here, and they have a choice of what team to come too. If they're getting alot of calls, they might not want to come to the Lions. I think we have to show some improvement and you'll see us get some of the more premium UDFA's in the upcoming years.

I believe it is similar to the draft. They didn't want to bring in bodies just to have bodies. They didn't want to bring in guys they didn't like just to bring them in. They are trying to bring in guys who they like so they can spend more time with fewer players making them better. The lions have another problem with UDFA. UDFA do not have to come here. The only reason they would is becuase our roster is weak and they have a better shot.

I'm sure if he could replace most of the roster with guys he likes he would try. But my guess is that he understand we have only so many draft picks and not everyone is jumping to get to Detroit...

Harrel went undrafted...everyone on here thought he was a savior at one point.
