 Face Off of the Titans

I put $5 on Brian. I would have put $10 on his mock winning, but he screwed up the top 10. Come on Brian, that is the easier part!

Tough call. If Rodgers doesn't go #1, he'll fall out of the top 10 IMO. Therefore, I pick Paul's. Good job Pablo. Even though Miami traded Surtain so KC won't be looking at CB.
My top 10 look like:
1 ) San Francisco - Alex Smith, QB, Utah
2 ) Minnesota (from Miami) - Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan
3 ) Cleveland - Mike Williams, WR, USC
4 ) Chicago - Cedric Benson, RB, Texas
5 ) Tampa Bay - Carnell "Cadillac" Williams, RB, Auburn
6 ) Tennessee - Antrel Rolle, CB, Miami (FL)
7 ) Miami (from Minn) - Ronnie Brown, RB, Auburn
8 ) Arizona - Adam "Pac-Man" Jones, CB, West Virginia
9 ) Washington - Carlos Rogers, CB, Auburn
10 ) Detroit - Derrick Johnson, LB, Texas
I put my pride and a pack of skittles on that top 10! I can't bet money - too poor.

Yet you bet 50 bucks that the Lions would win their first playoff game

I'm not happy with that mock... but I see a lot of those picks happening.
Differing opinions:
I don't see Cleveland taking anyone but a QB or WR at #3. Johnson is not their man.
I think Braylon goes no lower than #2. From what i'm hearing, he may go #1.
Benson is the Bears' man at #4.
Troy Williamson is liked very much by the Vikings... they'd take him over Mike Williams. At the combine, nearly half the teams had Williamson rated ahead of Mike, so this shouldn't be a shock.
Carlos Rogers will go ahead of Pac-Man... ARI and WAS like Rogers more than any other corner in this draft.
ally, this draft is about luck. If you guess what the Niners, Dolphins, and Browns do, you will get the highest score. But it's just too hard right now.
I want to change my Cowboys pick to Shawne Merriman... i'll do that in my final Mock tomorrow... as well as a top 100
There are mid round changes I wanted to make... I told Paul not to consider that as my "Final" Mock, but rather one just for the Staff Writers article.

There were some limitation within this format - namely no trades so we could compare picks one by one.
Brian - I'm certainly not convinced Cleveland would take DJ but I figured everyone else would have the Lions taking him and I wanted to be a little different. Plus, the Browns new coach is used to winning games with linebackers from his days with the Pats. It's not totally out of the question.
conversion02 - thanks man. It was weird doing the mock, once I had Rodgers slipping past #3 he just kept falling on my board. When I was done and saw where I had him I was a little shocked. In reality, there would probably be some movement to grab him earlier but with no trades I just couldn't plug him in anywhere else.
Mike & Brian - I'll be looking forward to your congratulatory posts on Saturday!

That was a small part of my tax refund (the rest is going to pay off debt). I was suckered into that bet Damn peer pressure.
