Post Pre Draft Pep Talk - Sinatra Style
256 of them! Take a good look at 'em, look at 'em, and while you're looking, listen.
This is me, Bubbles, talking. 256 rookie players and me are telling you... you know what we're telling you? It's over!

The links, the beautifully conditioned links are smashed.

They're smashed as of now because we say so,
because we say they are to be smashed.
We're busting up the joint,
we're tearing out all the wires.
We're busting it up so good all the pudits horses and all the pundits men will never put you back together again.
You don't read combine numbers, watch highlights, or listen to pudits, any more!
That's an order.

Anybody invites you to a game of mock draft,
you tell 'em sorry, buster, the ball game is over.

Forget everything you have learned between January and Now.

If you havn't seen the player, you don't know anything about him. if you haven't seen every game what do you know? Even if you have seen every game for a player, did you focus on that player for every play? Did you watch that same game and pick another player? And another? Unless you did that for every game, for every player. You know nothing. Mel Kiper knows nothing, he knows what people tell him. We know what people tell us, and the limited information we have broken down, made a judgement, and passed it along. Same with the Gm's of our football teams.

No nfl team knows every single thing about every single player (isn't that terrifying?) Trusting our Gm's around the league to make the right choices is playing with fire. They don't know, you don't know. No one knows.

You can't trust your own mind, and you can't trust the people paid to do this. You can't trust anyone. No one can be an expert for every player. There just isn't enough hours in the day.

You think you know, but you have no idea.

Enjoy the Draft
