 Nate Allen in the third?
Looks like from a lot of mock drafts that Nate Allen could be available at the top of the third. Some note he is the best pass cover safety in the draft and might be a perfect fit with Delmas. I'd love to get this guy, he could be a great value pick.
Quote: Weidl notes that South Florida senior Nate Allen “is perhaps the most fluid safety in the nation in pass coverage.” Allen might be good enough to try playing cornerback, but in general college safeties aren’t good cornerback prospects in the NFL.

I think it will depend on who else drops. An interesting S prospect this year will be Rolle becuase he took a year off.

I wouldn't mind Allen in round three at all. I'd prefer it was a pure cover corner, but there aren't that many available in this draft and will likely be gone by that time. The Lions had a shot last year in the third, but took Derrick Williams instead. Several pretty decent coverage CBs were still on the board at that time.
Isn't Myron Rolle a Rhodes Scholar? I think most teams would be hesitant to draft him because he may elect to use his intelligence elsewhere than on the football field.

Yeah he is. With that year off he might drop a ways.

From what I remember about his intent moving forward was to play football in the NFL, have a successful career, and become some sort of medical doctor. If he's serious about having any sort of lengthy NFL career, and he's available from the 2nd round on, I'd consider him. He was damn good in college, and would have likely been a top 10 pick.
