yeah. I had him late 2nd to 3rd. Popular picks like Shazor and Browner are taking hits due to guys like Stanley Wilson.
You'd think we knew a lil something.
But Shazor or Browner would be steals in the 6th. They should do it.

I saw a 8-10 minute special on this guy on either ESPN or Fox Sports Detroit in the last couple of days.
He was average until this year and then stepped it up.
The piece was more on him as a person and the adversities he has overcome.
This is the son of THE Cincinnati Bengals RB Stanley Wilson that came up missing the day before the Super Bowl and was later arrested for cocaine. He has been raised by his paternal grandfather. His dad is now in jail serving a long sentence for robbery. Stanley Wilson Jr., the one that we drafted, said that he still loves his dad and visits him but does not want to make the same mistakes.
He said that he has spent most of his life overcoming the shadow of what his father did.

Sounds like he will have something driving him to do well.

Freebird, via PFW:"72. Detroit: CB Stanley Wilson, Stanford Wilson is very smooth and athletic and has an NFL pedigree. The Lions' target in the first round was Adam Jones, but he wasn't available when they got on the clock. Nevertheless, they landed a bigger and more naturally athletic player in Wilson, who eventually should be able to push Fernando Byrant for a starting job."
