 Draft Day 2 Blues
With only a 6th round pick left, things are looking alittle bleak for Lions fans. The only hope we have for today is trading current players or future draft picks.
What's your take on today? Do we just sit tight and wait for June 1st or make some moves right now?

Right now I'd trade Kalimba Edwards for a 4th round pick if it got us a QB like Adrian McPherson or Dan Orlovsky. OR, Ernest Shazor - who somehow is still available!!

Could we trade Hakim and eat some of his salary and not take a bad cap hit?

Get Shazor - cut Bracy Walker!! Shazor's improved his speed and was an All-American. Weak in coverage, but great in the run - like Kennedy.
At this point (with only 1 pick left, I think we should take an UDFA unless we trade to get back into the 4th - which I think we should definately do.

6th rd isnt such a bad spot to try a QB... Would've liked to have the 4th rounder with guys like Antaj Hawthorne, Shazor, James Butler, Kyle Orton, Lance Mitchell and Macpherson still there...

 Lions Try a Trade
I just heard on the radio - 1270AM - that the Lions are franticly trying to get into the 4th round (via trade) to score a QB.

I think Orlovsky is a good solid pick. I would have rather had McP maybe but I knew M&M where not going to take him. Orlovsky was their guy all along.
