Bill Swancutt Grade: 3.43
Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: Oregon St.
Conference: Pac-10
Ht., Wt.: 6-4, 270
40 Time: 4.98
BIO: All-Conference selection and co-Defensive PAC-10 Player of the Year last season after posting 65/18/11.5. Moved into the starting rotation as a sophomore totaling 56/11.5/21, then 45/11/17.5 as a junior.
POSITIVES: Tall, thin college defensive end who is a pass-rushing menace. Breaks down well, quick changing direction and fast off the edge. Displays a good spin move and wedges to the inside beating blocks. Heady ball player who immediately reads the action and locates the ball. Plays with a good degree of intelligence. Displays the ability to flatten or alter his angle of attack. Moves well laterally, breaks down well and works to get involved in the action.
NEGATIVES: Easily locked up at the point by blocks. Does not play to his timed speed and possesses more of a short burst. Lacks the top first step off the snap. Wears down against big bodied blockers.
ANALYSIS: A pass-rushing defensive end who makes a lot of plays in the opponent.s backfield, Swancutt has been a force the past three seasons. Struggles defending the run and must add bulk to his frame to become a complete defensive lineman.
PROJECTION: Mid Fifth Round
Height and weight looks exactly like Justin Tuck's...

CJ Mosely was great value to the Vikes later in Rd 6 as well. I thought he would have went in the third, possibly fourth.

Does anyone know what the hell GB is doing in this draft? I say worst draft so far for the Pack. They got a good QB for the future though, but beyond him...

Green Bay has dominated this division for years. They are due to take a step back...

The Projections are from www.nflfans.com and according to them we've had a hell of a draft
Mike WIlliams WR(10) Projected @ 3******
Shaun Cody DT(37) Projected @ 28******
Stanley Wilson CB(72) Projected @ 62******
Dan Orlovsky QB(145) Projected @ 164
Bill Swancutt DE(184) Projected @ 86******
of course Mcpherson was projected way ahead of Orlovsky??? 4 out of 5's not bad
