CollegeFootballNews.com ranks Lions 3rd overall for draft
http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2005 ... ft_NFC.htm
DETROIT LIONS:
Best Value Pick: Bill Swancutt, DE Oregon State (6th round)
Biggest Reach: Stanley Wilson, CB Stanford (3rd round)
The best draft. There's good value with all six picks getting them all much later than they should've gone. Swancutt and Goddard will stick. Orlovsky will start in 2006.
Division Rank: 1
Conference Rank:?3
Overall Rank: 3

I'd say their rating system is a bit of a reach. I do like our draft, but it could have been Arizona quality...

How could they say we got value with all six picks and then say that Wilson was a reach? I agree that Wilson was drafted earlier than he should have been, so that doesn't make him a value pick.
And Orlovsky will NOT start in 2006. They're smoking crack over there.

Yes... all hail the Cardinals...
I truly think that Orlovsky could indeed start in 2006, provided Harrington cuts up in 05 and is released.
Wouldn't be surprised at all if we selected a quarterback in the first round in 2006... if this season goes how I think it will.

Orvolosky will not start in 2006...i think i have a better chance of starting that Dan O. does (Kidding)...He is a good talent but is so raw he won't be ready to take a snap until 2009 or 2010
