You think players without a contract are going to just sit on the sidelines? Teams sign players during the season... it will still happen. What world are you living in today?

THe Nickel spot is only an issue because our badass Nickel CB (A Smith) had to play as our #2. He isnt a #2 (unless he steps up se4riously in the offseason/next year) but we definitely dont need another Nickel CB.

Pretty sure thats why we bypassed Harris twice... because thats all mayhew thinks he can be (and I trust Mayhew on that).

Agreed. Its absurd to even discuss the idea that NO FA will happen this year. Could it be shortened .. it alreayd has been. Could it be chaotic with people getting overpaid or signed to Fat Short contracts because there is no "Real Cap" in place and the CBA hasnt been finalized yet... Sure. But to say it could not happen is to ignore how business works in the NFL.
