I don't get how Chicago gets in over us. We have the same record and we split with them. Plus, they now have Caleb Haney at QB.

And our SOS is stronger.

It all comes down to the Atlanta game. That's the difference maker and they won, we lost.

lol they don't use starting QB as a tie breaker. They get in above us because of record vs teams that we have both played. Basically the ATL game is the difference. Even worse that we lost the tiebreaker to ATL as well.

I know they don't use the starting QB as a tie breaker. I just put that in there because he will lose games that Cutler would have won.

KC is beating the Bears right now 7-3 half way through the 3rd quarter. If they hold on and win, that should put Detroit back in front of the Bears in the wild card race. Pending of course the outcome of the Lions vs. the Saints tonight.

Bears Lost. Caleb Haney lead the Bears for a whopping 3 points. ROFL. This evens us up on common opponents with the Bears. Hoping the Lions can pull off one of those games where they win when no-one gives them any chance in Hell of winning.

Once we get past New Orleans, I think we will be all right. The Vikings - The Broncos just beat them 35-32 ROFL. Oakland should be a win. They just lost to Miami. San Diego is just having a bad year.

That's 3 fairly easy wins. That would put us with 10 wins. Which should be good for a Wild Card. If we can beat either the Saints or the Packers, that's bonus.

Also, Atlanta lost to Houston. So, they are now 7-5. But, they hold the tie-breaker over us. Hopefully, we can find some way of getting to 8-4. Knocking on Sly's noggin. LOL.

If the Cowboys don't win their division, and we finish tied with them, we hold the tie-breaker with them.

1. The Lions almost lost to the Vikings earlier in the year

2. The Lions don't travel well to the West Coast (Oakland)

3. San Diego still has some good offensive weapons

With the way the Lions have played the last two games, I don't count anything as an easy win. Why? Because the Lions are playing against three teams whenever they take the field. The opposition, the officials and themselves.

I like the 20-25 range. I'd love to be able to land a really good quality OLman at the end of the first round, where they make a reasonable salary, and don't break the bank.

You really don't have to break the bank any more with first rounders, unless you're in the top ten, and even then its nothing compared to the last few years (when the Lions made a permanent home there).

I agree though, you can still get good talent and aren't as hamstrung to pick players in that range. In the top 10 you take DL, OT, QB, or WR. Now we can take whatever we want in this range.
