Trade down, pick up an extra third, and take Janoris Jenkins.

1. Janoris Jenkins
2. Osemele, LT at Iowa State, projected as OG in NFL.
3 Trumaine Johnson, just in case Jenkins ain't all that. If they don't need him at CB he's a safety.
4. Phillip Blake, no reason to wait for Dom to retire to find his replacement.
5. Marvin McNutt, set all time receiving records at Iowa on a bad team.
6. Andrew Datko, risk vs reward he's the BPA here.
7.Jewel Hampton, best RB left on the board and short is in these days for RB's.
8. Best QB left on the board, gotta have someone for a camp body.

I would rather trade back up to get Jenkins in the 2nd than trade down and try to nab him later. Trading down to get "value" out of Jenkins is probably trading into the 2nd round, and you'd have to worry about some team getting "giddy" and trading up to 30-32 to take Jenkins right at the end of day one. That's not a situation that I would want to be in, especially sitting there with an early 2nd round pick and most of the top tier talent gone.

I would rather we stand pat and take Martin if he's available, or trade down 5 spots or so and target Konz with Jenkins being a safety net in case Konz gets picked. We need OL help just as much as we need CB help, and Konz would be a great value and addition to our OL. I too like Osemele a LOT, and I like Trumaine Johnson and his ability to possibly switch over to FS as well. I think McNutt will be gone before the 5th, but he's a good WR. IMO he's a little slow for the NFL, so I would rather we consider Junior Hemmingway or Martin (MSU) for a late round WR.
