NFL Draft prospect and former Crimson Tide offensive lineman D.J. Fluker is caught up in controversy after a tweet from his account admitted he accepted money from an agent while attending Alabama. Fluker’s agent claims his client was hacked, and Michelle Beadle and Dave Briggs are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt based on his Twitter history.
This could be huge for his draft stock and even worse, for Alabama. Everyone knows those cats at Bama are getting paid.
If it hurt his draft stock it would be a minor thing at best. No one is going to pass on him for a lesser player just because of a stupid tweet. He may get passed on if a team if trying to decide between him and a player they feel is of equal talent/need, but that's as far as that would go.
