We still need a WR and an OLB.

I would have preferred them to take a move back but I like the pick because the versatility Ebron gives them on offense lining him up all over the field.

This doesn't shock me. The Lions OC comes from an offense that heavily features an athletic TE. Trying to build the same thing in Detroit.

I agree that he will line up in slot like Jimmy Graham, and I think he was better than reaching for the third best WR.

Not thrilled. Boom or bust pick. They ran to the stage. At least they didn't trade away the draft to get him.

With Gilbert and Barr gone, I'm ok with it. I would've gone with Lewan, but Mayhew said Lombardi had Ebron as his #2 offensive skill player after Sammy.
Plus, that ridiculous Browns/Viking flip-flop killed any decent trade value in that immediate range (5th rounder?!? Really?!??!!).

Great pick for the spot. Someone else for D's to account for. My question would be, what are we shooting for next?
BTW I did call the Ebron pick!!!

Any thoughts on round 2? I hope we go back 7 but who knows. We'll probably take a QB
