Fan speak who also does a mock draft game currently has a manage the cap game. It's a bit simplistic but still kinda interesting.

Post Re: NFL Draft Game 2015.
I did this draft, not for the score but I decided to pick strictly positions in the order of need, as I see them:

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23: Jordan Phillips, DT, Oklahoma (B)
Round 2 Pick 22: Laken Tomlinson, OG, Duke (A-)
Round 3 Pick 24: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State (B+)
Round 4 Pick 23: Henry Anderson, DE, Stanford (A-)
Round 5 Pick 22: Sean Hickey, OT, Syracuse (B-)
Round 6 Pick 24: Austin Hill, WR, Arizona (B-)
Round 7 Pick 23: Malcolm Agnew, RB, Southern Illinois (A)

With Suh seemingly set to sign with Miami, the Lions are almost locked into having to take a DT in the first or second round. I don't think Fairley will re-sign here and that leaves just Mosely as a player the team will likely have to overpay to keep. They'll have to take one, if not two DTs in the coming draft.

OG is the need immediately following DT. With Sims set to be cut loose, we got nothing for a starter at LG. Laken Tomlinson would be a steal, in my opinion, that late in the second round. Watching him at the Combines, he moves very well and has pop when he snaps his arms. I think he'd be a good compliment to Warford and Swanson, giving us a really good, young interior that can grow together.

With the need for an off-corner starter, that position should be looked for possibly in the first round, but certainly no later than the third. With Slay as the primary corner, getting someone who can develop quickly is a huge need. Maybe bring back Mathis for just one more season to tutor the young guy. Lawson and Bentley, I don't think, are starting material but more suited to nickel and dime roles.

After cornerback, it's a toss up between getting a DE or OT. I think OT may be a bigger need, but Taylor hasn't really impressed me as a DE opposite Ziggy, and I don't think Jason Jones should be counted on to stay healthy. As for OT, if Lucas or Waddle can stay healthy, I think they could do the job at RT just fine. So I gave the nod to DE over OT in the fourth round.

We still need another quality receiver, should look at getting a bell cow style running back to backup Bell, and another possibility would be to draft a player late than can play either safety spot as a backup to Quin and Ihedigbo.

Your score is: 6156 (GRADE: A)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 24 (ARI): Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon (A)
Round 2 Pick 22: Eddie Goldman, DT, Florida State (A)
Round 2 Pick 24 (PITT): Marcus Peters, CB, Washington (A)
Round 2 Pick 32 (N.E.): T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama (B+)
Round 4 Pick 32 (N.E.): Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina (A)
Round 6 Pick 2 (N.E.): Andy Gallik, C, Boston College (A)
Round 6 Pick 24: Ben Beckwith, OG, Mississippi State (B-)
Round 7 Pick 14: J.R. Tavai, OLB, Southern California (C)
Round 7 Pick 23: Corey Robinson, OT, South Carolina (B)

In other highly unrealistic draft news...

Post Re: NFL Draft Game 2015.
In this scenario, I am trying to keep the trades relatively realistic. Trade down in round one: Saints trade picks 31 and 44 for 23. Titans trade 2nd pick in round 3 and 1st pick in round 4 for the 22nd pick in round two.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 31 (N.O.): Marcus Peters, CB, Washington (B+)
Round 2 Pick 12 (N.O.): Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon (A-)
Round 3 Pick 2 (TENN): Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 24: Lorenzo Mauldin, DE, Louisville (B)
Round 4 Pick 1 (TENN): Donovan Smith, OT, Penn State (B+)
Round 6 Pick 24: Matt Jones, RB, Florida (B+)
Round 7 Pick 14: Titus Davis, WR, Central Michigan (A)
Round 7 Pick 23: Jordan Richards, SS, Stanford (A)

Donovan Smith is listed as an OT, where he played for Penn State, but will be moved inside in the NFL. Big guy (6'6", 340 lbs) who could pair with Warford to give the Lions two of the biggest, strongest guards in the league.

Your score is: 7212 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 26 (BALT): Landon Collins, SS, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 22: Carl Davis, DT/DE, Iowa (A)
Round 3 Pick 24: Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana (A)
Round 3 Pick 25 (CAR): Arie Kouandjio, OG, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 26 (BALT): Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State (A)
Round 4 Pick 25 (CAR): Anthony Chickillo, DE, Miami (Fla.) (A)
Round 6 Pick 24: Austin Hill, WR, Arizona (A)
Round 7 Pick 14: Alani Fua, OLB, Brigham Young (A-)
Round 7 Pick 23: Conner Neighbors, FB, LSU (C+)

Traded down from 23 to 25 and again from 25 to 26 garnering 25 and 26 in the 3rd round and 25 in the 4th round.

I'm starting to think our first 2 picks could really be Peat and Davis and I'd be OK with that.

That would be a huge get IMO. Find it hard to believe, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Round 3 Pick 9 (ATL): Jaelen Strong, WR, Arizona State (A+)

Round 7 Pick 28 (NYG): Tyler Varga, FB, Yale (A+)

Your Future Picks:
2016 Round 1 Pick
2017 Round 1 Pick

This isn't ever happening but that's why they call it a mock draft, but if it did except for missing out on all the RBs I wanted to land I'd be pretty happy. I passed on Duke Johnson in the 2nd with Collins being too good to pass and then missed Abdulah but again Strong was too good to pass up on. There was an early run on CBs and the second level CBs all needed up being taken just before my picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, but Carter and Coleman both have high upsides if Austin sticks around for a couple more seasons.
