I'm calling Lorenzo Carter for round 2. He's a perfect fit for a pass rushing OLB that can play opposite Ziggy on passing downs in the 4-3. He may get taken before the Lions are on the board, but I think he's the pick if he's there.

Sleeper RB I like later if we go defense in Rd. 2: Akrum Wadley.

I would not mind seeing Mo Hurst fall to us. And then get Shaq Griffin in the 3rd.

Darius Guice opted to go home rather than hang around at the draft. Given that there have now been 5 RBs drafted before him, I am betting he failed a drug test or something.

I've heard he did not do well in the predraft interviews. I also heard he told one team he would kneel during the national anthem.

Lions have moved up 8 spots in a trade with the Pats.... The Lions give up their 2nd and a 4th.

With the 43rd pick the Lions select (made by Nate Burleson and his heartbeat of America speech) Kerryon Johnson, RB Auburn giving us two bruising backs. Did have a lot of injuries in college.

Well, Legend has said Quinn is too scared to make a move. And I have to say, I completely agree and this is the final piece that convinced me.

The guy cannot pull the trigger on any big move unless it involves his old team.

The Lions % of transactions these past couple of years that involve the Patriots is absurd.

Someone needs his comfort blanket ...

28 carries per game will do that. He got chewed up in college and will have a Chris Perry kind of NFL career.

Maybe it's just me, but giving up our 4th when we have so little to begin with seems like desperation to me. Don't get me wrong, I like KJ just fine, but now we've got only one premium pick left. Guess they were scared he'd be gone with the run on backs.

The Lions were one of the teams mentioned as trying to trade up for the Browns pick at the start of the 2nd. Probably had eyes for Chubb, who the Browns selected.

I would have preferred waiting and getting Kalen Ballage later.

Well apparently the Pats were pretty high on Ragnow and Quinn played it quiet and stole him, so I was a bit surprised they actually did a trade with the Lions for this 2nd round pick. And as for pulling the trigger, we needed a RB, and moved up quite a few spots to snag one that most likely wouldn't have still been there come the 50's, and are giving up a mid round pick (4th?) to do it. Pats needed some later round picks, so it makes sense.

Not sure what is wrong following a formula from a franchise that has been dominant for the past decade, was the on the field result so great before that?
