The Lions pick at #8??? Green Bay at 25????????????? WOW

1. Cleveland Browns - D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT Virginia
2. San Francisco 49ers ? Ahmad Brooks*, ILB Virginia
3. Tennessee Titans ? Matt Leinart, QB USC
4. Miami Dolphins ? Chad Greenway, OLB Iowa
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers ? Haloti Ngata, DT Oregon
6. New Orleans Saints - Roderique Wright, DT Texas
7. St. Louis Rams - Mathias Kiwanuka, DE Boston College
8. Detroit Lions ? Marcus McNeill, OT Auburn
Jeff Backus is solid on the left side and Kelly Butler has the potential to be a decent right tackle, but McNeil would be a bargain with this pick and has the ability to be a bookend at either position.

9. Denver Broncos (from Washington) ? Omar Jacobs, QB Bowling Green
10. Chicago Bears ? Eric Winston, OT Miami (Fla)
11. Denver Broncos ? Derrick Hagan, WR Arizona State
12. Oakland Raiders ? A.J. Hawk, OLB Ohio State
13. Buffalo Bills ? Antonio Cromartie*, CB Florida State
14. Dallas Cowboys ? Santonio Holmes, WR Ohio State
15. Houston Texans - Jonathan Scott, OT Texas
16. Seattle Seahawks ? Reggie Bush*, RB USC
17. Kansas City Chiefs ? Jimmy Williams, CB Virginia Tech
18. Baltimore Ravens ? LaRon Landry* S LSU
19. New York Giants ? DeAngelo Williams, RB Memphis
20. Jacksonville Jaguars ? Will Blackmon, CB Boston College
21. Arizona Cardinals ? Devin Hester*, CB Miami (Fla)
22. San Diego Chargers ? Martin Nance, WR Miami (Ohio)
23. Carolina Panthers ? Mercedes Lewis, TE UCLA
24. New York Jets ? Winston Justice, OT USC
25. Green Bay Packers ? Darnell Bing*, S USC
26. Cincinnati Bengals ? Orien Harris, DT Miami (Fla)
27. Atlanta Falcons - Gabe Watson, DT Michigan
28. Pittsburgh Steelers - Greg Lee*, WR Pittsburgh
29. Minnesota Vikings ? Jason Allen, FS Tennessee
30. Indianapolis Colts ? Davin Joseph, OG Oklahoma
31. Philadelphia Eagles ? Leonard Pope*, TE Georgia
32. New England Patriots - Abdul Hodge, ILB Iowa

I'm sorry, but you don't take a tackle 1st overall. I know he is a great lineman, but still, an OT 1st overall?

In fact, now that I look, the first skill player on offense besides Leinart and Jacobs is Derrick Hagen at 11. I'm no draft expert, but is the 06 draft pretty weak?

Are you talking about the 06 class of WRs being weak, or the draft in general?

You should read the start of my article on the draft class.

As for the draft order.... he's a Bears fan, can't you tell? I know James personally. Mike and I used to post in his forum until it was bombarded by terrible posters.

Ferguson #1... yes... nothing wrong with that. Ask LionsfaninVA (if he ever comes back) how good he is. As well as Ahmad Brooks.

I just want to know where Mario Williams is. He has other mistakes, but that's his biggest problem, leaving him out.

The 06 draft is stocked.

D'Brickashaw could easily go #1. The guy is a stud and a half.

Ahmad Brooks is amazing. But then again, last year Ahmad Brooks was playing next to Kai Parham and Darryl Blackstock...will he be as good as last year or better?

That seems kind of high for Chad Greenway - I was thinking around 10.

DeAngelo Williams will be top 10 easily.

Mario Williams should be in the top 15 IMO.
