Post M2K's 2006 Mock Draft version 2.0
1 HOUSTON----------------RB REGGIE BUSH
The Texans have several needs, but with the first overall pick you take the best available talent in the draft.
2 NY JETS------------------QB MATT LEINART
If the Jets end up selecting here, it's a dream come true for Jets fans. Leinhart can give the offense a fresh start in the Big Apple.
3 SAN FRANCISCO--------DE MARIO WILLIAMS
Williams could be a huge difference maker in the NFL ala Julius Peppers. The 49ers would be foolish to pass him up.
4 NEW ORLEANS-----------OT D'BRICKSHAW FERGUSON
Wayne Gandy is in his 12th year, and Jon Stinchcomb is not the answer to protect whoever is calling signals for the Saints in 2006.
5 GREEN BAY---------------LB A.J. HAWK
The Packers need help desperately on defense. This is a great way to start. He and Barnett will play well together.
6 TENNESSEE---------------DE MATTHIAS KIWANUKA
Tennessee starts to rebuild their defense by taking a pass rush phenom in 'Kiwi'.
7 ARIZONA------------------OT MARCUS McNEIL
Leonard Davis is not a left tackle and needs to be moved back inside. McNeil could be the answer they have needed.
8 OAKLAND-----------------CB JIMMY WILLIAMS
Charles Woodson will likely leave and the Raiders need to replace him. Williams could even play safety for them if need be.
9 CLEVELAND---------------OT JOE THOMAS
Cleveland needs to replace Ross Verba and protect Charlie Frye for the future. Thomas is an excellent young Big Ten tackle.
10 BUFFALO------------------DT HALOTI NGATA
Buffalo could go offense here and get a tackle but miss defensive tackle Pat Williams more than they expected. Sam Adams isn't getting younger.
11 DETROIT------------------OT ERIC WINSTON
The Lions have needs at several places, but a solid offensive tackle to replace Jeff Backus is the priority here.
12 BALTIMORE---------------RB LAURENCY MORONEY
Jamal Lewis has lost his abilities and Chester Taylor is not a starter but a great backup. Moroney has the size and speed to be a Lewis-like back.
13 ST. LOUIS-----------------DB MICHAEL HUFF
The Rams secondary is hurting for speed and coverage ability. They could play Huff at either safety or corner.
14 PHILADELPHIA------------RB DeANGELO WILLIAMS
Brian Westbrook is not an everydown back. Williams will provide the Eagles with the workhorse they haven't had since Duce left town.
15 DENVER (fromWash)-----TE MERCEDES LEWIS
The Broncos jump at the chance to get a tight end that can stretch the field and bring the ghost of Shannon Sharpe back to Denver.
16 MIAMI----------------------LB CHAD GREENWAY
Miami needs to start replacing an aging linebacking corps. Greenway is big, fast and loves to hit.
17 MINNESOTA----------------LB BOBBY CARPENTER
The Vikings are another team that needs linebacker help. Carpenter could play inside or outside depending on their needs.
18 ATLANTA-------------------SS DARNELL BING
The Falcons secondary is shy of a playmaker. Bing is a big hitter with solid coverage capability.
19 PITTSBURGH---------------OG MAX JEAN-GILLES
The Steelers could use a running back, but will wait now that Willie Parker is showing skills. Instead they get a great run blocker for the line.
20 NEW ENGLAND-------------LB ABDUL HODGE
The Pats need to start getting fresh blood in their linebacking corps. Ahmad Brooks has character issues, and gets passed over for Hodge.
21 DALLAS---------------------WR SANTONIO HOLMES
Parcells can fill other needs, but Holmes is too good to pass up at this spot. Glenn and Keyshawn are getting old anyways.
22 TAMPA BAY-----------------DE TAMBA HALI
Simeon Rice is struggling and the Bucs need to get a pass rusher to remain a solid defensive team.
23 NY GIANTS------------------CB TYE HILL
The G-men can address linebacker depth later in this draft. Right now they take a top cover corner to help their pass defense.
24 KANSAS CITY---------------LB THOMAS HOWARD
Howard could be the best athlete in the draft, and is a very underrated linebacker who would compliment DJ well for KC and their new coach.
25 SAN DIEGO------------------FS LARON LANDRY
The Chargers could use some secondary help, particularly at safety. Landry needs to add bulk, but his skills are excellent.
26 CHICAGO--------------------TE LEONARD POPE
The Bears offense needs help and Pope is a great addition for the passing game and whoever the QB will be.
27 CAROLINA-------------------RB LENDALE WHITE
Steven Davis is likely going to retire, DeShaun Foster can't stay healthy. White is a big back with good speed and can be their starting guy.
28 JACKSONVILLE--------------CB CHARLES GORDON
Jacksonville is getting by with a subpar secondary, but they need help. Gordon is a good cover man with blazing recovery speed.
29 CINCINATTI-----------------DT GABE WATSON
The Bengals need a big body in the middle of their defensive line to help stop the run. Watson is inconsistent, but can be good with solid coaching.
30 DENVER----------------------OT JUSTIN BLAYLOCK
Denver needs to add talent along their o-line. A safety here would be great, but no one is of value. Blaylock could play either tackle or guard.
31 SEATTLE----------------------TE VERNON DAVIS
If he drops this far the Seahawks would be elated. Davis is raw but could turn out to be the best TE in this draft.
32 INDIANAPOLIS---------------LB DeMECO RYANS
The Colts need speed at linebacker. Cato June is solid, but an upgrade at the other OLB spot is needed. Enter DeMeco Ryans.

Im REALLY hoping Marcus McNeil slides to us in the 2nd- but I have a feeling he might be the first OT picked, the guy has more size and ability than any other OT out there IMO
