Was regarded as #2 DT in this years draft behind Ngata by many, but off the field issues are threating this kids status.

He was pulled over with POUNDS of pot, and charged with attempt to distrubute, How do you guys think this is gonna affect his draft status and do you think he would be worth a look, if he happened to fall past the first round? Could a major off-field issue like this make a guy fall out of the 1rst?

I dont see him as a first rounder. he probably will be available to the lions in the second round, but there are better options than a guy who has some talent but has off the field concerns and DT is not a need.

Millen was asked about the draft about a month or so ago. He was asked if character matters (because of Rogers and BMW, etc).

His response was "It's ALL about character".

So my take, for what it's worth, is that; 1) DT is not a need. 2) We're already short draft picks this year. 3) There's no chance Millen is drafting a guy who was busted with pounds of pot and introducing him to Charles Rogers.

It won't happen if he's still there in the 6th round.
