Have you seen him play? He's not as great a tackler as everyone's making him out to be. He's a great player and could be the next Ray Lewis, but his technique could be improved. He also has trouble shedding blocks. I would love to see him in Detroit as well, but he's not the savior.

Remember when Millen considered putting Barret Green at MLB? There is some precedent now with putting fast undersized guys at the Mike. You need two big DTs as a prerequisite but we have that. DJ seems to have the mentality for MLB. Shedding blocks is his supposed weakness, but could you scheme it so that he could go into full attack mode. In the middle of the defense he might make more plays. Also I think Teddy would be better at the Will than at the Mike.

I've already provided some video and pictures showing excellent form and you're still doubting his tackling? We must be seeing different things.

I guess this is where we agree to disagree.

Good day.

Well of course his highlight reels aren't going to show missed or bad form tackles!!! I think the guy's a stud, I just think he could improve his technique. Then again, who can't? I've never seen anyone in any draft who can't improve techniques, if anyone can name one, I'd love to know. Also, I don't think tackling is his best asset. Hence the comment I made that he could improve it.
