 UFC
Just curious if anyone is interested in the UFC? If so, did you catch the fights last night? The light-heavyweights put on a great show!!!

Yeah, I watched the whole marathon before the fight was on, that show had some pretty good fights...

I haven't watched in a long time. Since before Shamrock left for the WWE, but I saw something about him being back now, so I may have to pick back up.
Still, it's gonna be tough not seeing Joyce Gracie, Tank Abbott, and Dan Severn.
The classics were the best.

I think Shamrock only came back for one last fight. I don't think he's coming back to fight regularly. He was a Mo' F'ing stud.

Ken has had 3 fights in the last year and a half or so. He got pummeled by Tito Ortiz, he knocked out Kimo with a knee and just got pounded by Rich Franklin on Saturday. He doesn't look like the Shamrock of old and probably should think of retirement. As for Royce (pronounced Hoyce) he was an absolute stud. Tank is supposed to fight on this Saturday but hasn't looked good in his last 3 fights either, being submitted and knocked out.

Good Day

I can understand that. If you don't like boxing, you DIFINATELY wouldn't like the UFC, it can seem a lot more brutal.

Wow. I'm surprised to learn of the drop off for Shamrock. Not so surprised to hear about Tank. He was starting to get outmanned back when UFC first took off. He was a monster when it was in it's infancy, but as better fighters started showing up, he was losing more and more.
Royce.....that's right. I spelled it Joyce. LOL. My bad.
Still, he was awesome. I always knew little doods were harder to fight, but that guy had skills.
Do they still release them on video or can you only watch them on PPV now???

It will be on Pay Per View this weekend and you can get them on DVD. They have them going all the way back to the first one.

Yeah, I've seen the first ones. It was shortly after the Ultimate Ultimate with Shamrock and Severn that I stopped watching. Looks like I'll have to find a decent video store here in redneck valley. I know I will never buy all the ones I've never seen. LOL
