Somehow I think if it was a reference to a passage in the Quran, they wouldn't have shot the commercial down, in fear of upsetting Muslims when it was found out that the commercial was shelved due to it's "controversial" content.
It's absolutely ridiculous the lengths that society feels it must go to in order to be PC. Besides which, the term Politically Correct is an oxymoron.

I was very disappointed in the ads this year. The little Darth Vader one was great, along with a couple from Bud Light and Doritos, but the rest sucked! Next year, I DEMAND to see more scantily clad women promoting products that we don't remember what they were endorsing once the commercial is over.
