Re: Stocks hitting new highs
despite the gridlock in DC. Dow and S&P both hitting records and at levels not seen seen Oct of 2007.
Go Stocks! Go Lions!
I'd still be a seller. The market is too greedy and never learns. IMO we're experiencing a huge bubble right now and the real value of the Dow is somewhere between 10,000-12,000, if not less. There was an economist talking on CNBC, and I don't remember the exact words, but he was more or less saying that the market doesn't care about the U.S. as a whole or whether or not it goes bankrupt. It was the banking industry that they were worried about, and now that it is stable there is more confidence in the market. They basically made it sound like they don't care if the U.S. goes bankrupt, but IMO that's a horrible bet.
IMO our current President is one of the worse, if not the worst President in U.S. history. His handling of the economy, debt, and deficit has been putrid.
