 Power Jack on laptop

Post Power Jack on laptop
So my daughter was moving my computer and hit the power cord (right at the end where it plugs into the jack) and broke the end. Half still attached to the cord and the other half inside the jack in my laptop. I cannot get it out of there. So it looks to me like I need to have a new power jack put in. Does any one know of a place to take my lap top( Kalamazoo Mi, area) and have this done and about how much I could expect to pay? Also it is not the kind that is soldered to the mother board it just plugs in.

Just don't pay too much. Nowadays you can get a great laptop for $400-500.

It's simple to do yourself. You can probably find a video on Youtube on how to do it for your laptop model.
