This probably belongs in the WAY OFF TOPIC section lol...
I was listening to NPR this morning and they had a segment on the economy of China and mirant workers in the cities leaving factory jobs. They had someone on discussing the fact that China is actually being consumed by its desert at a not so slow pace. I wish I could recall the statistic of sq miles per year but it was insane. Anyways they are doing a series on China that I have enjoyed and recommend anyone interested to go listen. They have the audio of the reports on the site.
