Madden 06 - Anybody get it today?
Got it at walmart on my way home from work - it's only $40 there instead of the $50 I've seen it every place else.
First play of the game, Drummond ran it back for a TD. 2nd play of the game, KK got a wide open pick and stick armed the **** out of some dude. Keep in mind, I was playing on pro level against the Giants lol. That new precision passing is a lot more realistic than what I'm used to in 2004. Good job EA.

I'm going to wait until the price goes down. I'm too much of a cheap rectum.

Honestly, have you played it? It's a lot different. The passing feature alone makes it more difficult and realistic.

I did play it.
The passing feature is pretty stupid, IMO. I don't like how I can't look where I want and it automatically looks for me. It ruins the game.
All the graphics, all the soundbites, all the details, are the exact same. The only difference is the passing feature, and running is a helluva lot easier.

I just bought mine today (Saturday the 13th). I went to Wal-Mart and it wasn't only $40. They were asking the regular price. Out of sheer spite, I went to Best Buy and got it.

I just tried out the 'Superstar' mode last night for a brief time. It's pretty cool. My father was an Aerospace Engineer and my mother was a 7th grade teacher. Both had IQs over 100 (150 and 107, I believe). My character was a 6'2", 235 lb. linebacker. I was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round and was immediately put in the depth chart as the backup to Ike Reese on the outside.
Definitely a different approach to playing this game.
