So I could hopefully get credit so I wouldn't have to take it in college.
But I sucked on the AP Test. LOL. Oh yeah, I also wanted the "tough curriculum" for colleges to see. And the grade boost was nice, but it doesn't help at Michigan. Those B+'s get changed to B's and kill my GPA.

I took AP History because I knew I could slack off. No supervision whatsoever.

But I've learned that it's not so much the subject(s) but rather the way they get taught.
In the end it's VERY valuable to know. You have a much better grasp on how and why things got the way they are when you study this stuff.
I suggest you watch the History channel a little. Some of it is great.

High School is the biggest waste of time ever. College is pretty much a joke as well. You go through all the hoops only to realize you are still not qualified for 90% of the jobs that you want to work at with a degree. College is just a required nuisance, IMO of course.
