Post Namecalling-to be or not to be
I wont speak of the two lames who I'm talking about.

But if anyone has never called their Lions out of their name, public or private, then let ye be the first one to cast the stones.

I live down south currently, and I've been supporting, rooting, DEFENDING, and doing anything else you can do try the Lions some respect, all my life.

Don't mistake my namecalling for hate.
But see it as extreme love.
Freedom of speech is #1 baby.

Bash the Lions never, the playcallers maybe........
Namecall........???? every damn day, Touchdown or fumble

I'm a grown rectum man dog.
I'll say what I want.

the Jungle probably isn't the place to handle your Personal matters - While I agree you have the right to say whatever you want, that is limited by the rules the Mods have pre-established

Quote:
Some Simple Rules:
-No racists remarks
-No nasty pornographic pictures
-No spamming with ads
-No excessive profanity

Basically try and be halfway decent and we can all have some fun

Of course the Mods have the right to decide what is excessive :D

I don't view the namecalling as hate, I view it as childish and would rather not see it. You're a "grown rectum man, dog", well you don't present that. I personally could do without everything that has been posted lately and hope not to see any more of it.

The rules of the forum are simple, as LF57 quoted them...Name calling doesn't do anything but cause controversy, which is what this forum has prevented since it opened. There's a lot of name calling and personal attacks on other boards and most people don't like that sort of thing. I, for one, love this board for the intelligent debates and lack of name calling and personal attacks. Calling out a player is okay in my book, I've done my fair share of that, but without the name calling. It accomplishes nothing and is offensive.

Not your forum, OUR forum. Some people don't enjoy seeing cuss words and such all over the place. What you call Dick J. and other Lions by yourself is your business, I can't say I have never expressed my displeasure at them verbally. But you have got to control yourself here.

How am I a hypocrite? I don't call Lions' personnel names, it's childish.

We may not have rules against "cursing" here, and frankly, we shouldn't have to. This forum is for respectable conversations, not sure when that included name calling. We've never had a problem with this in the past year.

Obviously people don't like it, hence the purpose of all the replies in this thread, enough is enough. There should be no reason to dispute that.
