Post Lionbacker Get Together.
Whatsup guys, some may think this is a lame idea. I was thinking we should all try to plan a day/game where all us Lionbacker forum junkies, should try to organize a Gameday that we all show up to, and possible could get a group seating package at Ford Field.

I understand some may think this is a lame idea, or not possible to organize. But I think between the forum vets around here, we could make this happen. I would enjoy nothing more then to enjoy a game with some guys that accualy have some Lions knowledge, and arnt just part time fans.

Ide love to see Ferris, bsand, Glay, Lionfan57, conversation, DMorgan, Alpha, Brian, Oldschool, m2k, wjb and Legend. I know I missed some peeps and I would like to see anyone from this forum there.

Also any of the above, if you would be interested in this, and its $$$ thats the only thing holding you back, spark this thread, and I can help a few peoples out with teh ticket price, if they buy me a beer in the field =].

I know this probably wont happen, but ide love to atleast try and make it happen, let me know and throw in your ideas.

Anyone that i didnt mention that would like to get involved with somthing like this, let me know. And sorry to the ones ive missed.

If that many people got together it would have to be a tailgating party. Which would definetly be a good time. Alot of people in the forum have met already ( not necessarily everyones met everyone, but there are alot of circles )

We should keep this in mind for next season.

Why is this offtopic? Doesnt it directly apply to the Lions and there fans?

Just that nobody will see it here =[

Everyone can still see the original post in the jungle, but this is definetely an off topic thing. Most people check offtopic as well as the jungle, the draft, and around the league.

NEways - Mods gotta make a livin too

wi7son,

It's funny you would post this.

I was thinking about seeing if there's interest in a LionBacker get together for the draft down at Ford Field on Draft day.

Who would be interested in that?

I think that is a even better idea, would be much easier to organize and a bit cheaper for empty pocket fans =D.

Count me in, just let me know where the Lionbacker meeting marker is!

Its a 4 1/2 hour drive for me to Ford Field, but I would love to put some faces to names :D

It will require some maneuvering around, hotel etc.... but sounds like a great idea

Group tickets... I would be up for that.

Some friends and I did this last year and had a lot of fun. We had about 50 people show up. Did a big tailgate down at eastern market.

Make it happen.

The last two years, I got group tickets for the site that I used to frequent. Since I am no longer there, I'd imagine that I could do the same thing for Lionbacker this year. Both years, we tailgated at Eastern Market before the game and all sat together in the cheap seats. Unfortunately, those are the only tickets you can get through group sales at Ford Field. I'd be willing to do it again if enough people are interested. Let me know and we could run a poll on which game people want to attend once the schedule is released. Trust me, it's a lot of fun.
