Messi isnt even the youngest-next Maradona type of hype kid. Agurea or Augera or something similar is the new Maradona. Messi is too old at 20 . The Aguera kid plays for Atheltico Madrid. Saviola was supposed to be the next Maradona, and even though he was leading Barca in goals at some point this season, he seems to be on the out. I dont even know if he plays for the national team at all.
But back to Messi. Top 5 young players easily, probably top 20 player overall. Just a joy to watch.
