I like hosting the Falcons for Turkeyday. Should be alot of talk about that game for me due to my location. These Falcon fans always wanna dismiss & piss on the Lions, hope we beat em' down again this year in front of the nation this time!

Is it me or is it getting more and more difficult in the NFL to look at a schedule and say "Win, Loss, Loss, Win" for the games?

Seems that you cannot predict accurately how a team will do...look at how fast teams like the Raiders feel and how fast others have risen. Not complaining but just making an observation.

Good point. We have no idea how how each team is going to pan out. If someone told me last year that the Steelers would make it to the AFC champ, I would have been pretty sceptical. Like the Panthers two years ago.

We have a Christmas Eve game. Nice. Remember that one christmas game against the Skins? :groupjump: Best Christmas gift I got that year.

Ahhh, you beat me to it - but then again, mine should be correct:

http://www.lionbacker.com/?id=schedule

(there is also a schedule button link on the near the top schedule on the main pages)

I wish the Lions had 3 straight preseason home games followed by a home opener against the Pack. Our final preseason game is at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PABLO'S TAKE ON THE 2005 SCHEDULE (hey, everyone is intitled to their opinion & I needed to get some practice using all the new smileys)

I like the opener at home against GB followed by a game on the road in the windy city. Two teams that typically start the season slowly. hello2.gif

I hate that the BYE WEEK is so early. It's much better later in the season when players need to rest and heal injuries. help.gif

3 tough defenses follow after the bye week, we will really see who the QB is going to be by then and how our young O is responding. violent1.gif

Then CLE, who we will have already seen in the preseason. director.gif

We wil be done with Chicago before the calendar turns to NOV. :crybaby:

We have the Vikes twice in a 5 week span. I'm really gonna miss Moss. bootyshake.gif

NeXT - SigCROG and ROY, of the Lions of course, taking on FITZ & BOLD Brian's "game of the year" against the Cards. hat20.gif

Then bring me da boyz in Big D. Road trip anyone? I will be at this one... qcheerleader.gif  Cheerleaders! qcheerleader.gif

No turkey on thanksgiving this year guys. My bird of choice that day will be falcon - deep fried for the 2nd straight year. Can you put six legs on a falcon? new_microwave.gif

Then Vikes/Pack divisional games back2back! The fate of the season should be very evident by now frodo. XXknight.gif

S&S on the road to finish - Uh Oh. Better have already clinched! The first is on XMAS eve. And we kick off 2006 with the Lions final regular season game (1/1/06), let's hope we get to watch a few more after that.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! occasion18.gif hat31.gif occasion18.gif

I wonder what our Strength of Schedule would be. There's a lot of up and coming teams in there that can explode this year. My biggest worries are Dallas, Vikes, Cinci, Pitts, Baltimore, and yes, Arizona (IF Warner plays like he did in St. Louis - not NY). 9-7 would be a good finish; those are some quality teams.

How do the Pack rate 3 Monday Night games? That's ridiculous!

Only because Favre came back...must be thinking it's his last season! That's my thought, I just think the wold's obsessed with Favre...or they hate him.
