Head coach Steve Mariucci told the Lions' web site that running back, Shawn Bryson, might be "cross-trained" as a fullback this season.

Mooch's statement suggests Bryson won't be pushing for a lot of time at halfback. Cory Schlesinger is the starter at fullback, and Paul Smith, who is listed at halfback, will also play some fullback too. Rookie Kevin Jones is the clear-cut starter at halfback and it appears Artose Pinner will be his primary backup.
